Our business was built by two couples — Mark and Colleen, and Jeff and Megan — and inspired by a shared love of Alaska, family, and the belief that where you stay shapes how you experience a place. From lifelong Alaskan roots to choosing Alaska as home, each of us has been drawn to the beauty, adventure, and community that make this state so special.

What started with one welcoming home in Palmer has grown into a collection of thoughtfully designed properties in Palmer, Wasilla, and Homer. Today, Live Local AK includes The Greenhouse in Palmer, Stillwater Cottages and The Little Lakehouse in Wasilla, and Tidepool Treasures in Homer — each created to offer comfort, character, and a feeling of belonging.

Whether you’re planning a weekend getaway, a family trip, or a small gathering, our goal is to help you feel at home while discovering something new.
