How many people can stay at Stillwater Cottages?

Stillwater has seven cottages—five 2-bedroom cottages that sleep four each and two 1-bedroom cottages that sleep two each—for a total overnight capacity of 24 guests. We have a total of 12 Queen-sized beds.

Can our group have exclusive use of the property?

Yes. When you book the full buyout, your group has exclusive use of The Little Lakehouse and all amenities including firepits, kayaks, lawn games and saunas.

Can we bring in catering?

Yes. Outside catering can be a great option for retreat groups. We can also point you toward local restaurants and food options in the Wasilla area.

Is Wi-Fi available?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available for guests in all cottages. The Little Lakehouse has Wi-Fi for presentations and video calls.

Can we have activities or events outside?

Yes. The property has a large lakeside lawn, covered porches, firepits and outdoor gathering areas. A tent may be brought in and assembled on the lawn.

What is the minimum stay?

A three-night stay is required for full property buyouts.

How many people can The Little Lakehouse accommodate?

The Little Lakehouse can seat up to 24 guests at tables comfortably, with a maximum capacity of 30 depending on the setup.

Can we use Little Lakehouse for meetings and meals?

Yes. The Little Lakehouse is designed for meetings, workshops, retreats and group gatherings, with flexible seating, a Smart TV, kitchen access, a patio/deck and views of Lake Lucille.

Can we prepare meals ourselves?

Yes. The Little Lakehouse has a full kitchen and every cottage has a full kitchen, making it easy to handle breakfasts, lunches or casual group dinners on your own.

Is the property wheelchair accessible?

The Little Lakehouse and one cottage, Arctic Grayling, are wheelchair accessible.

How far is Stillwater from Anchorage?

Stillwater Cottages is about an hour drive from Anchorage.

Can we have a retreat in Winter?

Yes! Stillwater Cottages is open year-round. Winter brings a completely different Alaska experience. The lake is available for ice-fishing and ice skating. The surrounding area offers many winter activities. And the saunas are a great way to warm up after a cold day.
